Haris Hair-oma treatment: review - salon review

Thought aromatherapy treatments were just for face and body? Think again…

Tested by: Rebecca Cox, Beauty Editor

The salon: Hari's Salon, a boutique beauty destination in London's chic SW3 postcode. Salon stations each have their own identities, from classic retro glamour to yellow-pages chic (yes, really). Finding out which station you're having is all part of the fun.

The treatment: In an exclusive collaboration, Hari's has teamed up with Aromatherapy Associates to create a relaxing hair ritual dubbed the Hair-oma treatment. The 'hairomatherapy' treatment aims to combine the relaxing, mood-lifting effects of the scented oils with the nourishing, hydrating effects they can have on your locks.

What it involves: Hair is painted with your choice of relaxing oil and wrapped before being heated to allow the oils to deeply penetrate your locks. You're then given a 20 minute back, neck and shoulder massage before your hair is rinsed of the aromatherapy oils, and you're given a signature glossy Hari's blow-dry.

The verdict: Our locks were left ultra-smooth and glossy, and we left feeling significantly more relaxed. A real treat.
